Ghost In the Shell 1.5 Human-Error Processor manga release details

Date: 2007 October 15th Monday [18:05] | Posted By: Joe

UK fans of Ghost in The Shell will be pleased to hear the details Titan Books have sent us about the release of Ghost In the Shell 1.5 Human-Error Processor. The manga is due out in the UK on 23rd November 2007. It bridges the gap between the Ghost in the Shell 1 and 2 manga (hence the 1.5 name). We've been waiting for this to come out as one book ever since we heard about it and highly recommend it to Ghost in the Shell fans.

Masamune’s Newly Collected Ghost In The Shell!

Ghost In the Shell 1.5 Human-Error Processor

"There's an attitude, an attention to detail, and a style of illustration that is specifically Masamune's."
- Ain’t It Cool News.com

From Masamune Shirow, leading manga writer and artist, comes the final volume of his most influential and important creation – Ghost In the Shell 1.5: Human-Error Processor [Titan Books, 23 November 2007, £14.99]!

Deep into the 21st century, the line between man and machine has been inexorably blurred as humans rely on the enhancement of mechanical implants and robots are upgraded with human tissue. In this rapidly converging technoscape, the covert-ops agents of Section 9 are charged to track and crack the most dangerous terrorists, cybercriminals, and ghost hackers the digital future has to offer!

Presented in traditional Japanese right-to-left style, this fantastic new volume features never-before-collected stories that were created by Shirow between producing the much-acclaimed Ghost in the Shell 1 and 2. This is an indispensible collection for any manga fan!

Masamune Shirow is one of the greatest names in manga. His creations include the genre-defining Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, Dominion and Gundress. As well as comic strips, Shirow has worked on the movies of his creations and designed computer games.
