Animax Weekly Highlights for 14th September 2015

The good folks from UK Anime streaming service Animax have sent us details of their weekly highlights.

The company have just launched iOS and Android Apps too.

Every Friday evening of the month the site will also launch a new movie, this Friday HAL will join the Animax site.

Other highlights include Tiger & Bunny The Movie: The Beginning, Tiger & Bunny The Movie: The Rising. Bleach: Memories of Nobody, Mardock Scramble: The First Compression. Plus Simulcasts Rampo Kitan and Overlord.

WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS - W/C 14th September
ANIMAX NOW AVAILABLE ON iOS AND ANDROID

It's official. ANIMAX has now launched its new ANIMAX apps on iOS and Android. Featuring the latest anime shows direct from Japan and some of the greatest anime TV boxsets and movies, uncut and in HD; fans can now enjoy action-packed anime anytime and anywhere, on demand.

To celebrate this new venture, ANIMAX are adding new movies every Friday for the first month of the launch onto iOS and Android. Exclusive titles such as GIOVANNI'S ISLAND, 009 RE:CYBORG, PATEMA INVERTED, and this week we have the heart-warming tale of HAL especially for you.

ACTION MOVIES
To kick-start ANIMAX's new movie release schedule, which features a new film released every Friday at 6PM, ANIMAX are celebrating with some serious action. Watch out for both Tiger & Bunny The Movie: The Beginning, and Tiger & Bunny The Movie: The Rising; with some classic action sequences and serious space-splitting spacequakes you won't be 'out of action'. As if that wasn't enough for this week, ANIMAX also has a host of crime-fighting and a couple of deadly collisions you won't want to miss out on your ANIMAX fix: lights, camera, and action!

TIGER & BUNNY THE MOVIE: THE BEGINNING
Kotetsu T. Kaburagi is a super-powered hero who fights crime in the name of corporate sponsors on Hero TV. After being forced by a merger to work for a new company, he is assigned an antagonistic partner named Barnaby Brooks, Jr. As their tumultuous relationship as the first hero duo progresses, they must capture a capable thief who now threatens the reputation of all the heroes.

TIGER & BUNNY THE MOVIE: THE RISING
Shido Itsuka discovers a mysterious girl at ground zero of a recent spacequake. Shido soon learns that the girl is one of the creatures responsible for the spacequakes...

BLEACH: MEMORIES OF NOBODY
Ichigo and Rukia set out to learn more about a mysterious Soul Reaper named Senna. They uncover an evil plot for revenge that makes the World of the Living and the Soul Society veer towards a deadly collision...

It's the year 2138, and virtual reality gaming is booming. Yggdrasil, a popular online game, is quietly shut down one day. But one player, Momonga, decides not to log out. Within the game, Momonga transforms into the image of a skeleton, becoming "the most powerful wizard". The online world continues to develop, with non-player characters (NPCs) beginning to feel emotions. As he has no parents, friends, or place in society, Momonga strives to take over the intricate world the game has become.

ANIMAX is continuing its anime season of entertainment over on Sony Movie Channel, with Bleach continuing to air exclusively in the UK on Sky Channel 323 late night on Monday 14th September.

For as long as he can remember, Ichigo Kurosaki has been able to see ghosts. But when he meets Rukia, a Soul Reaper who battles evil spirits known as Hollows, he finds his life is changed forever when Rukia transfers most of her powers to him. Now a Soul Reaper himself with a newfound wealth of spiritual energy, Ichigo discovers his true calling: to protect the living and the dead from evil. But when Rukia's actions are called under scrutiny, Ichigo and his friends must put everything on the line to prepare to save their friend from the Soul Society.
