Australian anime and manga distributor Madman Entertainment has given details for their release of the animated series Puella Magi Madoka Magica. In a reply posted on Twitter, the company gave details that the series (which is being released in the United States by Aniplex in a series of regular and limited editions on DVD and Blu Ray) will be released on DVD and Blu Ray on the 18th April 2012.

Edition details are as follows:

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Vol. 01 W/ Limited Collector's Box (Blu-Ray)

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Vol. 01 (Blu-Ray)

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Vol. 01 W/ Limited Collector's Box (DVD)

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Vol. 01 (DVD)

The limited sets are priced $39.95 for the Blu Ray and $34.95 for the DVD, while the standalone first volumes are $34.95 for the Blu Ray and $29.95 for the DVD. (Please note, prices are in Australian dollars).

At present the details are that there will be an English language track and a subtitled Japanese language track. Extras include textless opening and closing animations. All editions are available now for pre-order. No age rating is available at this time.

Madman offer shipping of their releases internationally. However, Otaku News warns readers that you must be able to play Region 4 coded DVD's or Region B coded Blu Ray's if you are planning to order these titles.

UK / Irish / European readers should note that their Blu-ray region is Region B, the same as Australia.

Also note the US edition Blu-ray is not region locked, so will work on any Blu-ray player.
