The good folks from online publication Anime Herald have sent us details of their latest endeavour. They'll be launching an official print magazine in October 2025. The launch issue coincides with Anime Herald's 15th anniversary. It includes a collection of eight classic articles, plus nine all-new, print-exclusive pieces. The new articles feature contributions from anime media veterans.
The print edition has a suggested retail price of $17.95 (USD). Preorders for the publication are being accepted at shop.animeherald.com. They will ship overseas and are currently looking into the logistics of shipping from the US.
We think it's great that a long running publication like Anime Herald are going to go to print. While online is great (says this website), having a print edition is always exciting. There's something about holding a physical copy of something that makes it feel a bit special. It's also great that they've assembled a team of anime experts to contribute articles for the magazine. We're looking forward to reading it when it's published!
