Upcoming Japanese blu ray release of Makoto Shinkai's latest film to include English subtitles.

The Asian Blu Ray Guide reports via Can You Moe that the Japanese blu ray of Makoto Shinkai's latest film Hoshi o Ou Kodomo (which we reviewed here) will include English and Chinese subtitles. The film will be released in regular and limited editions. The limited edition will include a film strip from the movie, a documentary, commentary track from Shinkai, interviews, PV, comic and story boards.

The discs are set to be released in Japan on November 25th. At the time of this writing, only CDJapan have started taking preorders for them.

No word yet on region code status but we will keep you up to date as we hear about it.
