Howl's Moving Castle Breaks New Records

Howl's Moving Castle is setting records after making 1.5 billion yen in it's opening two days. That's approximately 1.1. million admissions. It's distributor in Japan Toho, is expecting 40 million people in total to see it; that's one third of the population of Japan.

The film looks like it's going to be a big success for Studio Ghibli. Howl's Moving Castle is the story of Sophie an 18 year old girl who is turned into an old woman by a witch. The film is based on the popular book by Welsh writer Diana Wynne Jones.
