Japanese Queen Tribute Promises to Rock London

Queer - the Japanese Queen Tribute Band

Get ready for a kind of magic, Japanese style! One of the country's hottest new Queen tributes prepares for a set of explosive shows in London this February.

Two very special Queen tribute nights will take place at the Pipeline in Liverpool Street London on Saturday 4 and Tuesday 7 February. Both nights will feature live sets from one of Queen's premier Japanese tribute bands, Queer. Entry is £5 with an advance ticket or £7 on the door for each show.

Saturday's show will see the band perform a warm up set as part of Japan Underground, the UK's biggest Japanese music party. To mark the occasion the event will boast DJ sets of famous rock hits covered by Japanese artists, along with an 80s-themed dress code. The glammed up shenanigans are set to take place between 7pm to midnight.

Tuesday's show will play host to the act's first ever full show in the UK, featuring a blistering 90 minute set from the tribute band in association with the Japan Society, followed by the after party.

Queer's guitarist, BULA!!!ian M Sato says, "We are so honoured to have the opportunity to play in London, the Holy birth place of rock music. Our mission is to spread the magic of Queen to as many people as possible; how Queen was, and is, the greatest band in history."

"Playing in London is totally beyond our imaginations!" adds drummer Roger M.T. "It will be our first time playing in front of the people of the UK. In Japan we have a 'Tribute' culture where we pay respect to the great musicians that inspired us. I hope we can inspire people to enter into Queen's fantastic, magical world of rock!"
