On Saturday 6th of April, AnimeDublin held it's second one-day con in Dublin City and one of our reporters was on hand to see things and take some pictures!

Working on a short schedule, I was able to check out the con for a few hours and chat to some of the con-goers. Held in the O'Callaghan Alexander Hotel, the only idea that something anime was happening was the steady stream of cosplayers coming and going from the con.

Talking with some of the con-goers, they said that this year's con was better than last year's but that the previous was really good so high praise, indeed! The con had its usual skits and games and the crowd did it all with gusto.

Attending some of the panels, I liked the subjects presented. My only regret is that I did not get to attend the Tezuka Panel hosted by Rob as I arrived too late to it. Adding to the mix was a great mixture of cosplayers who make or break a con in my opinion. They were, as they always are, very gracious and posed while I fumbled with my new camera.

Two regrets: One, I did not get to stay very long and two, that I did not get to chat with my fellow con-goers for longer. Hopefully, next year I will get to correct both mistakes.
