New DBZ DVD Release in Japan

After the success of the limited edition Dragonbox sets in Japan Toei will be releasing the DVDs individually. The DVDs will span the entire DBZ series and include cleaned up footage. Z fans will want to note that this was a separate project to FUNimation’s re-release. Toei have also announced the final box set, which will be comprised of the Dragon Ball movies.
