Those of you attending Ayacon and planning on attending next year's conventions Amecon 2006 (August 11th - 13th, 2006) and Auchinawa(November 23rd -
26th, 2006) will be interested in a joint registration scheme which will be running during Ayacon this weekend. The scheme will allow con goers to pay for one con in full and a deposit for the other at the same time.

Two conventions promote dual attendance

LEICESTER AND GLASGOW, UK, August 17th 2005 - Amecon, the largest Anime convention to be held in the British Isles to date, and Auchinawa, the first Anime and J-Culture convention to be held in Scotland (2006), are pleased to announce a joint registration scheme for Ayacon 5 attendees.

Deposit Registration Scheme Overview:

Due to the conventions offering registrations at Ayacon 5, the committees of both AmeCon 2006 (August 11th - 13th, 2006) and Auchinawa (November 23rd -26th, 2006) are willing to employ a deposit registration scheme, which will
allow a registrant to pay full membership for one convention and a deposit for the other, subject to the terms and conditions of the specific convention.

Auchinawa Deposit Registration Scheme Details:

Auchinawa is allowing deposit payments for attendees who have fully registered for the AmeCon event (August 2006). The minimum deposit of £25 is to be paid at Ayacon 5, with the remaining balance to be paid within one month. Should any registrant wish to cancel within this period or fail to pay by the specifieddeadline, an administration fee of £10 will be deducted from the refund andthe remainder of the balance will be returned by cheque. Unless otherwise notified, registrants who are employing the part-payment scheme for the Auchinawa event (November 2006) are subject to the Terms and Conditions on the official website .
