Good News for Anime Fans as in 2006 there will be plenty of anime and live-action movies to watch.

According to Anime News Network, Blue Submarine No 6 will be adapted into a Live-action Movie. The announcement was given by Gonzo’s Shouji Murahama in an interview with NewWords Magazine. The movie will cost approximately 10 billion yen (US$84 Million). This will be Gonzo’s first Live-action movie although the studio has another 30 live-action projects into consideration. The movie will be directed by Masahiko Ohikura.
Erica Sakurazawa's Angel also was turned into a live-action feature. It will star Kyôko Fukada as the main lead and the director was Mayumi Miyasaka.
The Movie is going to be released on the 21st January theatrically and more details can be found on their official website. Tokyopop released the one-volume manga in 2003.
And Last but not least for Nana fans in addition to the second movie, an Anime Series will be produced. Based on Ai Yazawa’s Manga who is now achieving honours with Paradise Kiss, the Nana TV Series will be broadcast on NTV in early 2006.
