Three Arrested in Tokyo Over Manga Postings

Three men have been arrested in Tokyo over apparent copywrite infringement due to the scanning and subsequent posting of manga on a cybercafe server.

One of the men, the owner of the cybercafe and two accomplaces have admitted to the allegations after the Fukuoka Prefectural police "Cyberpatrol" located the images on 464.jp and investigated. While this may seem like a seemingly harmless crime, the perpetrators were allegedly aiming on shifting to a "paid for" service and already had over one thousand potential customers signed up.
