Anime Limited Announces 2021 release dates and Xmas Sale details

UK anime label Anime Limited followed up on their earlier announcement of new titles with release dates and news of their yearly Christmas sales. They also teased further releases for 2021.

Details as follows:

Kill La Kill
Anime Limited held a panel for day one of their livestream anime convention, Cloud Matsuri, where they announced a mixture of release dates for their earlier November announcements, teased new announcements and answered fan questions. All the earlier November announcements will be part of Anime Limited's 12 Days of Christmas (which runs on their website from the 1st of December to the 12th of December) and will have discounts applied to them during the sale while on preorder. Unless stated, the following releases will be on blu-ray format only.

25th of January 2021:

New licence announcements:

Penguindrum

Panellists Jeremy Graves and Andy Hanley from Anime Limited also announced the company's next batch of licences for 2021. These releases have no details beyond that they will debut next year.

Mawaru Penguindrum with Andy Handley stating it would have corrected 1080p video (Collector's Edition)

Ascendance of a Bookworm (Andy Hanley stated they were hoping for a collector's edition)

Your Name (4K UHD release)

They further clarified that they had hoped to bring the 90's magical girl show Cardcaptor Sakura to release in 2020 but after reexamining the project, this has been pushed back to 2021 to give it the best release the company can give it. They also touched on the Cardcaptor movie they had previously announced and said it is still coming and will follow the TV series release.
