The good folks from anime distributors Manga Entertainment UK have just sent us details for their release line up for the rest of 2018 and early 2019. They'll continue to release some ongoing popular shonen series such as Naruto Shippuden, along with the Dragon Ball Z Broly Trilogy on DVD.
We're most excited about the up coming release of The Ancient Magus' Bride, which is due out on Monday 11th February 2019, it follows the adventures of Chise a girl with magical powers she doesn't fully understand, who is taken to England to live with Elias (who looks like a Mari Lwyd). There's lavish UK locations, characters fromfolklore and a bit of Stockholm Syndrome thrown in the mix. We've also got confirmation from Manga Entertainment UK that the release will also include the excellent OVA prequel story. At the other end of the scale they also have another magical girl in the form of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Part 1 also released on Monday 11th February 2019. It's magic of a different kind with the latest adventures of CLAMP's hugely popular Cardcaptor Sakura, Clear Card marks the next chapter in Sakura's adventures.
If you're looking for something a bit offbeat, we strongly suggest Mob Psycho 100, from ONE the creator of One Punch Man.
