Dear all,

It is with great regret I must announce that Chris Patton has become unable to attend AmeCon due to extremely recent medical issues, and personal circumstances outside of his control; AmeCon regrets that it will be unable to host him this year and demonstrate once again the courteous and mature nature of the UK fanbase to a guest more used to the hullabaloo of the far side of the Atlantic.

Chris sends his sincerest apologies and best wishes to his disappointed fans on this side of the pond, along with his hopes that he might attend future UK-based events once these matters are resolved. I would personally wish to apologise to all of the AmeCon attendees who were so looking forward to his attendance; I assure you all that every effort was made by both himself and ourselves to make his appearance happen, but there are some things that are simply out of our hands; I also extend to Chris our very best wishes for a speedy recovery.
