My name is Franki Webb and I'm an archaeologist and writer. I started my working life as a journalist but quit to pursue a career in archaeology after spending time in Japan in my early twenties. My writing mostly focuses the problematic nature of Western archaeology and archaeology in the media.
Although I love all aspects of archaeology, my specialism is in prehistoric zooarchaeology and colonial period of Mesoamerica. I received my masters from University College London in 2017 and I hope to pursue a PhD in archaeology in the future. I currently work as a Heritage Consultant in London.
