It's the aftermath of MCM London Comic Con. On Saturday 29th October 2016 UK anime company Manga Entertainment UK announced the up coming releases.
Following on from their UK cinema release of Akira, they intend to get screenings for the original Ghost in the Shell Movie in January 2017 and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions in February 2017.
In March 2017 they'll be re-releasing a some Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex titles, plus the original movie.
Manga's Animatsu label also announced some acquisitions. We're very excited about Kinmoza (as we keep mentioning), it's moe, it's pure fluff really.
They've also got Flying Witch, which is easy going and well animated, a kind of magical slice of life show about Makoto a witch in training. Plus A Certain Magical Index II along with A Certain Scientific Railgun 'S.

Following on from the huge success of our UK-wide screenings of Akira in September, we're very excited to announce that we'll be bringing more anime to the cinema! Some of you may already be aware of our plans to screen Ghost in the Shell in cinemas in January, but we will also be bringing the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! flick, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions, to cinemas across the UK in February 2017!
The original Ghost in the Shell film will be showing on over 80 UK screens on the 25th January and seats are selling fast, so make sure to grab your ticket in time! We'll also be re-releasing the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex movies The Laughing Man, Individual Eleven and Sold State Society as well as the original movie with all-new, collectable, custom drawn artwork in March 2017.
You’ll be able to see the bitter rivalry between Kaiba and Yugi come to an end on the big screen in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions. There will be more information on this release very soon.
The latest Animatsu acquisitions have a touch of the supernatural, a slice of high-school life and a little sprinkling of magic!
We'll be releasing the Sentai slice-of-life comedy Kinmoza in early 2017, with it's second season, Hello! Kinmoza following on later in the year.
Our favourite blood manipulator Mirai will return in 2017 in the two-part film Beyond the Boundary the Movie: I'll Be Here, which we'll be releasing on both DVD and Collector's blu-ray.
Professional sorceress Makoto will be landing in UK in the supernatural comedy Flying Witch - join her and her black cat Chito as they swoop around Aomori on their trusty broomstick!
It's taken a little planning, but we're very pleased to be able to confirm that Boruto the Movie will be coming to UK home video on the 3rd of April 2017! Look out for it on DVD and Blu-ray.
Berserk is back! Watch out for our upcoming Berserk: The Golden Age Arc Movie Collection early next year on both DVD and Blu-ray. It'll include the films Egg of the King, Battle For Doldrey and The Advent.
Not only have we picked up some new titles, but we'll also be continuing some of the great series from our catalogue that have become firm fan favourites!
...And finally - in 2017 we will be taking you back to Academy City as we release both A Certain Magical Index II and A Certain Scientific Railgun 'S'! Look forward to more info on these releases very soon.
