LONDON, UK, 16th NOVEMBER 2005 - ADV Films, the leading producer-distributor of anime in the U.K., today formally announced a 26th December 2005 street date for the third and final volume of Divergence Eve: The Beginning of the End. Prepare for a thrilling journey into the heart of darkness with the release of this sci-fi /action space thriller directed by Hiroshi Negishi (Shadow Skill, Burn Up W). This futuristic high-flying epic is brimming with intense space battles, high-tech fighting robots, and babes who certainly fill out their skimpy military uniforms. Divergence Eve is a dark tale enlivened by a shocking mystery that will leave you guessing till the very end!

The Story:
Seraphim must choose who amongst them can fight the final battle. When the price of losing is certain death, only the bravest dare to venture out on sorties. As Misaki battles with ghosts from her past, she must watch as Ghouls violate and annihilate her closest friends. She must choose between destroying herself, or allowing the Watcher’s Nest to be the victim of certain destruction. But someone is about to unlock Misaki’s secret... someone who will surely use her power for evil.

Divergence Eve: The Beginning of the End (RRP £19.99) is a DVD-only release, including four uncut episodes presented in anamorphic widescreen with both English 5.1- and Japanese 2.0-language versions with English subtitles. THIRD VOLUME OF TEEN ROMANTIC ADVENTURE OUT 26th DECEMBER 2005

The Story:

LONDON, UK, 16th NOVEMBER 2005-ADV Films today announced a 26th December 2005 release date for the sixth penultimate volume of Neon Genesis Evangelion - Platinum Edition. Each episode of the enormously influential Evangelion television series has been officially revised and digitally remastered for this new release by original creators GAINAX to create beautiful, vibrant video and crisp, sparkling new English and Japanese 5.1 surround sound audio, creating the ultimate Evangelion DVD experience. Volumes 1 and 2 of the original series screened in December 2004 at the first ever International Manga and Anime Festival at London County Hall, playing to hugely appreciative audiences of all ages in the Debating Chamber, now a dramatic and comfortable screening venue. All volumes release so far have been in the top five best-selling UK anime DVDs on their respective weeks of release.

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Platinum: 06 is the sixth release of seven DVD volumes, which over the course of 26 episodes include new cast and crew commentaries, four bonus Directors’ Cut episodes and seven animatics (moving storyboards). The Story:
Claus and Dio return to Silvana from their vanship expedition to search for the Exile, only to find that Silvana had been hijacked by the Guild. Delphine holds Alvis, Claus and Alex Row hostage and takes them to the Guild ship. Delphine attempts to lure Alex to provide all the mysterions open Exile gateway. Dio is declared the official successor of his sister Delphine after he is forced to partake of a series of rite of passage ceremonies. However, to defeat the Guild, one must take possession of the Exile, so Empress Sophia plans to command the Silvana to cross the turbulent Grand Stream to locate the Exile. Can they accomplish this dangerous feat within the critical six days?
