Jujutsu Kaisen exclusively on Crunchyroll this autumn
The highly-anticipated anime series Jujutsu Kaisen will air exclusively on Crunchyroll as part of the upcoming autumn season in October 2020.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy, horror series that follows the life of teenager Yuji Itadori who finds himself entangled in an epic battle between sorcerers and powerful curses.
He lives in a world where negative emotions like hardship, regret and shame are Curses that run rampant and lead people to terrible misfortune and even death. They can only be exorcised by another Curse.
Yuji has tremendous physical strength and one day, to save a friend who has been attacked by Curses, he eats the finger of the Double-Faced Spectre, taking the Curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with the spectre. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Gojo Satoru, Itadori is admitted to the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical High School of Sorcery, an organization that fights the Curses and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a Curse to exorcise a Curse.
The series based on the popular 2018 manga that has sold more than 6.5 million copies, is animated by MAPPA with director Sunghoo Park who also worked on the Crunchyroll Originals series The God of High School.
The manga Jujutsu Kaisen is published by Shueisha in Japan and VIZ Media in the United States.
