The good folks from anime mega company Crunchyroll have taken marketing to the next level in the hipster central part of London by commissioning a mural in Shoreditch.
The hand painted artwork features mascot Crunchyroll-Hime along with promos for Spy x Family,
he Rising Of Shield Hero Season 2 and One Piece. The 14.5m x 6.6m mural is on Chance Street, near Shoreditch Overground opposite Box Park.
The mural was done by Global Street Art Agency who also did a great Belle mural in Camden this February to celebrate the cinema release of Mamoru Hosoda's latest film.
Crunchyroll would also like you know that they'll be screening Spy x Family and The Rising of the Shield Hero at MCM Comic Con London this May too.
We hope that anime murals become a regular thing in London! It's great seeing anime getting such prominent advertising in London.

Crunchyroll's spring anime season makes a splash with exclusive London mural
Crunchyroll, the global anime brand, is celebrating its new spring season of anime with a 14 metre high mural, painted onto a wall in London's Shoreditch.
Global Street Art Agency, the UK's leading hand-painted advertising agency, executed the colourful anime-themed mural in Chance Street. It depicts Crunchyroll-Hime, the brand's anime princess mascot, alongside the artwork for three of the hottest spring season shows SPY x FAMILY, The Rising Of Shield Hero Season 2 and One Piece.
The vibrant 14.5m x 6.6m mural, which features Crunchyroll's trademark orange, blending into a background of hot pink and magenta, is visible from Box Park and Shoreditch Overground. It's expected to be an Instagram favourite with anime and street art fans as well as tourists and passers-by. The mural has already started turning heads.
"We wanted to create something special for fans in the United Kingdom to celebrate our spring content season, which marked the first time we combined all upcoming titles on Crunchyroll. Previously, fans needed to subscribe to both Funimation and Crunchyroll to see their anime, but not any more!" said Gita Rebbapragada, Chief Marketing Officer, Crunchyroll. "This mural is as vibrant and exciting as anime itself and showcases many of the great titles fans can enjoy all in one place."
The series featured in the mural depict a variety of anime fan tastes and genres. SPY x FAMILY is a comedy / action anime, following the lives of one spy, one assassin and one telepath who come together to create a fake family and uphold world peace! The Rising of the Shield Hero is a fantasy adventure series centred around a young hero who must overcome the challenges placed in his path. One Piece is the beloved and long-running Shonen series, offering fans a mix of comedy, adventure and action as Luffy and the Straw Hat pirates continue their adventures.
The spring slate celebrations will continue at Comic-Con, London from 27th - 29th May where Crunchyroll are planning to screen episodes of SPY x FAMILY, and The Rising of Shield Hero Season 2.
